Activities

Rip & Roll is a community-focused escape from the noise of everyday life. Everything is optional — train when you like, surf when you feel like it, or take time to rest without any pressure. Mats are open throughout the day, lessons run at set times, and surfboards, wetsuits, yoga, meditation, evening activities and beach time are always there if you want them. We set the environment, you shape the experience.

 

Rip & Roll is your week to breathe, explore and enjoy yourself at your own pace.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

Daily Seminars with Luke Saldanha and Christopher Newman, featuring eight Gi and No-Gi sessions for all levels. Enjoy open mats throughout the day — on the mats or on the beach — to drill, roll and learn at your own pace.

Yoga

Yoga at Rip & Roll is a gentle way to open the body, ease tension and stay moving well all week. Suitable for all levels, sessions focus on mobility, breath and recovery to support your surfing and Jiu-Jitsu. A calm daily reset to help you feel fresh and balanced.

Surf Lessons

Surfing at Rip & Roll centres on the Anza beach break, just 30 seconds from your room. Enjoy three lessons with video analysis, plus all-day access to boards and wetsuits. Open to all levels, with guided sessions for experienced surfers — explore and progress at your own pace.

Evening Activities

Evenings at Rip & Roll have their own magic — live music, secret beach fires, rooftop hangs or simple early nights to recharge. Nothing’s pressured or planned too tightly; everything’s optional and easy. Just enjoy the moment however feels right for you.

Meditiation

Meditation at Rip & Roll, led by Jai, offers a daily moment to slow down, breathe and reset. Open to all levels, it’s a relaxed space to ground yourself before the day unfolds and carry that clarity into the waves and onto the mats.

Chill Spaces

Rip & Roll has plenty of relaxed spots for downtime — from the beach on your doorstep to the Jungle Café and the rooftop terrace. Whether you want a quiet moment, a coffee, or just a break between sessions, it’s an easy place to unwind, reset and enjoy the slower side of the week.
